Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts; Request for Proposal

   The Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on March 16, 1998 for the development of application software in Microsoft Visual Basic and Seagate's Crystal Reports. This is to implement a new Administrative Support Application Project (ASAP) based on a completed set of functional requirements, database design and an associated conceptual design completed in Visual Basic.

   The project schedule, terms and conditions and scope of work are outlined in the RFP. A copy of the RFP may be downloaded from the Pennsylvania Judiciary's web site on the Internet (www.courts.state.pa.us). Copies may also be requested by calling the AOPC at (717)795-2000 or E-mailing the AOPC at aness@courts.state.pa.us. A Procurement Library has been established at AOPC Mechanicsburg Office and may be scheduled for use by calling the number listed above. The Procurement Library is also available electronically at the Judiciary's web site.

   Vendors interested in bidding for this procurement must submit their questions by March 30, 1998 and Letters of Intent to Bid by April 22, 1998. See the RFP for a detailed schedule of the procurement process. Each vendor must include the sample ASAP application code with the Letter of Intent to Bid. Detailed informationabout the sample application code is located in Chapter 1, Section C, Subsection 1.3 of the RFP.
