NAVIGATION COMMISSION FOR THE DELAWARE RIVER AND ITS NAVIGABLE TRIBUTARIES

Apprentice Pilot Applications

   The Navigation Commission (Commission) for the Delaware River and its Navigable Tributaries announces that it will accept apprentice pilot applications through April 15, 1998. The Commission intends to appoint seven apprentice pilots in 1998.

   Interested persons may obtain application forms and information materials by writing the Commission at 302 North Office Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120 or by calling the Commission at (717) 787-6458. Person who previously had an apprentice pilot application on file with the Commission must file a new application in order to be considered for appointment as an apprentice pilot.
