   C-00992585.  Duryea Borough. Duryea Borough v. Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad, Delaware and Hudson Railway Company, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Luzerne County.

   Complainant states Duryea Borough Council has received numerous complaints regarding the railroad crossings in Duryea Borough. The crossings are uneven, loose railroad ties and potholes and the conditions are deteriorating constantly. Site includes crossings on Coxton Road, Foote Avenue, Phoenix Street, Marcy Street and York Avenue. They would like crossings inspected and appropriate action taken. Additional respondents are PENNDOT, Duryea County Solicitor and Luzerne County Solicitor.

   An Initial Hearing on this matter will be held Thursday, May 18, 2000 at 10 a.m. in Room 318, Scranton State Office Building, 100 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton, PA when and where interested persons may appear and be heard, if they so desire.
