Keystone Health Plan West; Filing No. 1-DPHMO-99-KHPW

   By filing No. 1-DPHMO-99-KHPW, Keystone Health Plan West requests approval to revise its benefits and increase its premium rates for its Direct Pay HMO Plan. The filing requests changes in drug benefit to a copay plan and to incorporate a value based pharmacy. The filing requests a rate increase of about 12.9% of current premium. This will affect about 17,500 contractholders and produce additional annual premium income of about $5.9 million. The requested effective date of the change is April 1, 2000.

   Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's Harrisburg Regional Office.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Rashmi Mathur, Actuary, Bureau of Accident and Health Insurance, Insurance Department, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
