Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before November 6, 2000, as set forth at 52 Pa. Code § 3.381 (relating to applications for transportation of property and persons). The protests shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.

Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00116616, Folder 2.  A King's Limo, Inc.  (1051 Herbert Boulevard, Williamstown, NJ 08094), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--(1) persons, in group and party service, exclusively operating vehicles with a seating capacity of 10--15 passengers including the driver, between points in the county of Chester and the townships of Birmingham, Concord and Thornbury, Delaware County, and from said areas to points in Pennsylvania within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of the limits of the counties of Chester and Delaware, and return; (2) persons, in group and party service, exclusively operating vehicles with a seating capacity of 10--15 passengers including the driver, from points in the county of Chester and the townships of Birmingham, Concord and Thornbury, Delaware County, to points in Pennsylvania, with Right No. 2 subject to the following conditions: (a) that no transportation shall originate in the townships of North Coventry, East Coventry, East Vincent, East Pikeland, Schuylkill and Tredyffrin, all in Chester County; and (b) that transportation shall be limited to a single group and party using one vehicle; (3) persons, in group and party service, exclusively operating vehicles seating more than 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in Pennsylvania; which is to be a transfer of the rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00112068 to E. Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00114509, Folder 2.  Elite Coach Limousine, Inc. (3795 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, Westmoreland County, PA 15668), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--additional right--persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 15 passengers or less, including the driver, between points in the counties of Cambria, Indiana, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Fayette, Washington, Somerset and Westmoreland, and from points in said counties and the county of Allegheny, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00115591, Folder 2.  Salem Trans, Inc. (3525 South Lawrence Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19148), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--additional right--persons in limousine service, between points in the city and county of Philadelphia, and from points in said city and county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; subject to the following condition: That no right, power or privilege is granted to transport persons and their baggage from the terminal facilities of Atlantic Aviation Service, Inc., at the Philadelphia International Airport; which is to be a transfer of all of the rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00110526 to U.S.A.
