NOTICES

Teachers Protective Mutual Life; Rate Filing

   Teachers Protective Mutual Life is requesting approval to increase its premium an aggregate 25.2% for the Comprehensive Long Term Care Policy Forms QH-9606-LTC-APC SH-9606-LTC-APC and three associated riders. The maximum increase is 30% which will affect some policy holders with issue ages under 70, while no increase over 15% is planned for policy holders with issue ages over 80. The average premium will increase from $1,395 to $1,747, and will affect 3,466 Commonwealth policyholders. The requested effective date of the change is July 1, 2001.

   Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's office in Harrisburg.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to James Laverty, Actuary, Insurance Department, Accident and Health Bureau, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
