   A-210104 et al. Philadelphia Suburban Water Company, et al.  Joint application of Philadelphia Suburban Water Company; the Consumers Pennsylvania Operating Companies--Consumers PA Water Co., Susquehanna Division, Consumers PA Water Co., Roaring Creek Division and Consumers PA Water Co., Shenango Valley Division; Waymart Water Co.; Fawn Lake Forest Water Co.; Western Utilities, Inc.; Northeastern Utilities, Inc.; Hawley Water Co.; Little Washington Wastewater Co.; and Pennsylvania Suburban Water Co. for approval of: 1) the merger of Philadelphia Suburban Water Co.; Consumers PA Water Companies--Susquehanna, Roaring Creek and Shenango Valley Divisions; Waymart Water Co.; Fawn Lake Forest Water Co.; Western Utilities, Inc.; and Northeastern Utilities, Inc. with and into Pennsylvania Suburban Water Co; 2) the commencement of water service by Pennsylvania Suburban Water Co. in the certificated territories of the previously-named companies merging with and into Pennsylvania Suburban; 3) the abandonment of water service by the previously-named companies merging with and into Pennsylvania Suburban Water Co; and 4) the transfer of control of Hawley Water Co. and Little Washington Waste Water Co. to Pennsylvania Suburban Water Company.

   This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before September 24, 2001, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
