CIGNA Healthcare of Pennsylvania; Rate Filing

On October 9, 2001, CIGNA Healthcare of Pennsylvania submitted a rate filing to increase the Community Base Rates for Medical and Pharmacy Plans. The proposed medical increase is between 28 and 32% and 33-50% for pharmacy. The rate increase will affect 2,827 members and generate approximately $1.3 million in premium income. The requested effective date is January 1, 2002.
This filing is available for public inspection during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's regional offices in Harrisburg and Philadelphia.
