STATE CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Dirt and Gravel Road Pollution Prevention Maintenance Program

   As required by 25 Pa. Code § 83.604(f) (relating to apportionment criteria), the State Conservation Commission (Commission) is providing public notice of the apportionment of Fiscal Year 2003 Dirt and Gravel Road Pollution Prevention Maintenance Program (program) funds to participating county conservation districts. This apportionment is authorized under 75 Pa.C.S. § 9106 (relating to dirt and gravel road maintenance).

   A.  Effective Date

   This apportionment is effective upon publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Allocations will be disbursed when funds are released from the Treasury after July 1, 2003.

   B.  Background

   The Commission, at their public meeting on March 11, 2003, approved allocation of $3,528,003 of Fiscal Year 2003 funds. These are apportioned according to stipulations in 75 Pa.C.S. § 9106(c). Copies of the referenced statement of policy contained in 25 Pa. Code § 83.604 and 75 Pa.C.S. § 9106(c) are available from Karl G.    The following allocations are being made to county conservation districts participating in the program. Listed alphabetically, they are:
