Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company; Application for Approval of Revised Rates for Standardized Medicare Supplement Policy Forms B9200 A PA, B9200 B PA and B9200 C PA; Rate Filing

   Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company has filed for approval increased rates for Standardized Medicare Supplement policy forms B9200 A PA, B9200 B PA and B9200 C PA, providing benefits corresponding to standardized supplemental benefit plans A, B and C, respectively.

   The filing requests an aggregate increase of 10.9%, varying by plan and underwriting classification. The actual rate increases requested are as follows:

   All issues under open enrollment are included in the preferred underwriting class.

   These rate adjustments will affect approximately 6,277 insureds and will generate approximately $1.16 million in additional premium annually. The company wishes the revised rates to take effect as soon as administratively possible following the Insurance Department's (Department) approval.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to May 25, 2005, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

   Copies of the filing are also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
