Order and Decree

Luzerne County Local Rule No. 1915.4-2

   Pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. No. 1915.4-2, actions involving custody, partial custody and/or visitation, wherein a Conference Officer conducts the initial conference and/or hearing, shall be conducted in accordance with Pa.R.C.P. No. 1915.4-2. This Court hereby certifies that Pa.R.C.P. No. 1915.4-2, and any amendments thereto, govern all practices and procedures related to actions for custody, partial custody or visitation.

Adopting Order

   And Now, this 31st day of January, 2008, it is hereby Ordered and Decreed as follows:

   1.  The following designated Luzerne County Local Rule of Civil Procedure 1915.4-2 custody, partial custody and visitation proceedings, a copy of which follows, is hereby adopted as a Rule of Court, effective thirty (30) days after publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.

   2.  The Luzerne County Court Administrator is directed to:

   a.  File seven (7) certified copies of this Order and the following Rule with the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.

   b.  Distribute two (2) certified copies of this Order and the following Rule, along with a diskette, to the Legislative Reference Bureau for Publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.

   c.  Arrange for the publication of this Order and Rule with the Luzerne Legal Register.

   d.  File proof of Compliance with this Rule, which shall include a copy of each transmittal letter.

Certification of Procedure for Conference before Hearing Officers in Custody/Partial Custody Visitation Proceedings

Order and Decree

   And Now, this 31st day of January, 2008, it is hereby Ordered and Decreed that the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County hereby certifies that Luzerne County conducts its custody, partial custody, and/or visitation proceedings pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. 1915.4-2.

   This Certification is effective immediately.
