Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by December 5, 2009. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2009-2140177. Scott R. Rice (140 Cochran Road, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15228)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Allegheny County.

A-2009-2140250. Kutztown Area Transport Service, Inc. (87 South Kemp Road, Kutztown, Berks County, PA 19053)—a corporation of the Commonwealth, to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Berks, Lehigh, Bucks, Montgomery, Northampton, Carbon, Schuylkill, Lebanon and Dauphin, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. A-2009-2140524. AAA Worldwide Transportation, Inc. (79 Beaver Avenue, Suite 6, Clinton, Hunterdon County, NJ 08809)—a corporation of the State of New Jersey—in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-00117376 to Stylin' Limousine, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions. A-2009-2139978. Barney's Movers, LLC (11039 Westmere Circle, Dallas, Dallas County, TX 75230)—a limited liability corporation of the Commonwealth—household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

Application of the following for the approval of the transfer of stock as described under the application.

A-2009-2140213. Colonial Limousine Services, Inc. (1918 South 6th Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19142), a corporation of the Commonwealth—ownership transfer—for the approval of the transfer of 1,000 shares of outstanding stock held by William Vessal (500 shares) and Menashe Hoba (500 shares) to Workineh Negash (500 shares) and Teffera A. Kebede (500 shares).

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

Limo (20565 North Norrisville Road, Conneautville, Crawford County, PA 16406)—discontinuance of service—persons, in limousine service: (1) from points in the Counties of Erie and Crawford, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; and (2) from the Pittsburgh International Airport, Allegheny County to other points in Pennsylvania and return

A-2009-2139753. Superior Bus Service, Inc. (1819 Gallagher Road, Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County, PA 19462)—a corporation of the Commonwealth—discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate—persons in paratransit service, for Kauffman Construction Company, Inc., in vehicles with a seating capacity no less than six passenger plus driver, nor more than 14 passengers plus driver, equipped with wheelchair lift, over designated routes, between Elm and Fayette Streets in the Borough of Conshohocken and Matson Ford Road and Front Street in the Borough of West Conshohocken, all in Montgomery County, with immediate service to the following points only and vice versa:

 1. The Conshohocken railroad station of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).

 2. West Conshohocken Borough Hall, Front Street and Matson Ford Road, Borough of West Conshohocken, Montgomery County.

 3. Along Access Road No. 1 (a loop around Merion Mills Business Park, Borough of West Conshohocken, Montgomery County).

A-2009-2140042. Romano's Coach Corp. (1065 Belvoir Road, Norristown, Montgomery County, PA 19401)—discontinuance of service—persons and their baggage, such as can be transported in buses without the removal of seats and without interference with the safety, convenience or accommodation of passengers, on schedule, in either direction, between the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County, and Liberty Bell Park in the City and County of Philadelphia; service to be provided only during racing meets at Liberty Bell Park.

A-2009-2140162. Hegins Valley Lines, Inc., a corporation of the Commonwealth (Box 507, Rising Sun Road, Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA 17061)—for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, authorizing the transportation of persons in scheduled route service as follows: Beginning at the Lykens Valley Plaza, located north of the Borough of Elizabethville, Dauphin County, on Route 209; thence proceeding west on Route 209 to the borough of Millersburg, Dauphin County, where Route 209 meets Route 147; thence proceeding southward on Route 147 to the Clarks Ferry Bridge where Route 147 merges with Route 22/322; thence continuing southward along Route 22/322 to various city streets in the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County; with the right to pick up and discharge passengers at any point between Lykens Valley Plaza and the Borough of Dauphin, Dauphin County.
