Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by September 12, 2011. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2011-2252617. B.D. Senior & Paratransit Co., Inc.

(1001 East Luzerne Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124)—a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania—persons in paratransit service, between points in the City and County of Philadelphia.

A-2011-2254433. First Choice Transport, Inc. (3626 Route 322, Knox, Clarion County, PA 16232), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Clarion County to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2011-2247910. Capital Bus Company (1061 South Cameron Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17104)—to discontinue all services as a common carrier by motor vehicle, at A-00067651 (folders 1—19), authorizing the transportation, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in scheduled route, taxi and paratransit service, between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2011-2253852. Timothy S. Powell (212 Pine Run Road, Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, PA 15767)—discontinuance of service—persons, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Armstrong, Clearfield, Indiana and Jefferson, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2253918. Michael James Himes (928 Georgetown Road, Paradise, PA 17562)—for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of his certificate as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00123965, authorizing the transportation of persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, and return.

A-2011-2253959. Edward R. Duffy (531 Greenland Drive, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA 17602), for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of his Certificate as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at No. 6410131, authorizing the transportation of persons in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2253974. Executive Car & Limousine Service, Inc. (1009 Hearthstone Way, Lewisburg, Union County, PA 17837)—discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate—persons, in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Union, Lycoming, Montour, Snyder and Northumberland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2011-2253975. Executive Car & Limousine Service, Inc. (1009 Hearthstone Way, Lewisburg, Union County, PA 17837)—discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate—as amended by A-2008-2037188—persons in limousine service, persons in limousine service between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
