FISH AND BOAT COMMISSION

Alcohol Prohibition; Spring Creek Canyon Property, Spring Creek, Centre County

 The Executive Director of the Fish and Boat Commission (Commission), acting under the authority of 58 Pa. Code § 53.4(c) (relating to limiting access to Commission property and other restrictions), has prohibited the use and possession of beer and alcoholic beverages on all Commission-owned or -controlled property in and along Spring Creek from the parking lot on Rock Road near Benner Spring downstream to the lower limit of the Catch and Release Fly Fishing Only area at Fishermen's Paradise, Benner Township, Centre County. The Executive Director deems this prohibition to be appropriate for the protection and management of Commission property. The prohibition is effective on September 30, 2011, when posted at the site. It is unlawful to violate restrictions imposed by the Executive Director on the Commission's behalf under 58 Pa. Code § 53.4(c).
