Act 129 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program Phase II; Doc. No. M-2012-2289411

 At its May 10, 2012, public meeting, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) adopted and released for public comment a Tentative Implementation Order (Tentative Order) to begin the process of potentially establishing a Phase II for the Act 129 Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Program. This Tentative Order proposes required consumption reductions for each electric distribution company as well as guidelines for implementing Phase II of the EE&C Program. The Tentative Order is on the Commission's web site at http://www.puc.state.pa.us/pcdocs/1176640.doc.1

 In addition, the Commission released for comment the residential, and commercial and industrial saturation studies, as well as a Market Potential Report, all of which were produced by the Statewide Evaluator. The residential, and commercial and industrial saturation studies, as well as Market Potential Report are on the Commission's Act 129 Information webpage at http://www.puc.state.pa.us/electric/Act_129_info.aspx. The Commission will hold an Act 129 stakeholder meeting on June 5, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Hearing Room 1, Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. The purpose of the meeting is to provide stakeholders with the opportunity for a question and answer session with the Statewide Evaluator related to the baseline studies and the Market Potential Report.

 Interested parties are invited to file an original and three copies of written comments on the Tentative Order, baseline studies and Market Potential Report by June 25, 2012, with written reply comments due by July 6, 2012, referencing Docket Number M-2012-2289411, to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Attention: Secretary, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265.
