Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by July 29, 2013. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2012-2331876. Rock Star Limousine, LLC (1928 8th Avenue, Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls, PA 15010)—persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in Allegheny and Beaver Counties.

A-2013-2348816. Vital Express Limo, Inc. (7523 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, Delaware County, PA 19082)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Delaware and Montgomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2013-2353473. Foster Gary Watson, t/a Gary's Travel Service (300 Vincent Avenue, Watsontown, Northumberland County, PA 17777)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Sullivan and Union, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2356362. Freedom Excursions by Scully, LLC (321 Maple Avenue, Altoona, Blair County, PA 16601)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Bedford and Blair, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2357038. Pyramids Executive Limousine Incorporated (P. O. Box 101, Blue Bell, Montgomery County, PA 19422)—persons in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and the City and County of Philadelphia; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

A-2013-2357240. Jonathan and Lisa Weaver, Co-Tenants in Entirety (464 East Main Avenue, Myers-town, PA 17067)—for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lebanon, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2357435. Network Connect Tours, LLC (137 Victoria Arms Circle, Kunkletown, PA 18058) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe and Northampton to all county, State and Federal correctional institutions located in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2013-2356334. La Union Taxi, LLC (1126 North Market Street, Berwick, Columbia County, PA 18603)—for the amended right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call or demand service, from points in the City of Hazleton and Hazle Township, Luzerne County, and within an airline distance of 10 statute miles of the said city and township, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Applications of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2013-2353691. Visit Vans, LLC (905 Harrison Street, Allentown, PA 18103) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, from points in the County of Philadelphia to correctional institutions within Pennsylvania, and return. Also, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, elderly persons in assisted/independent living facilities in Lehigh and Northampton Counties, to retail and entertainment establishments and return: So as to Permit the transportation of persons in paratransit service, by motor vehicle, from points in the Counties of Lehigh, Northampton and Philadelphia, to any State correctional facility in Pennsylvania, and return; and elderly persons residing in assisted/independent living facilities within the Counties of Lehigh and Northampton, to retail and entertainment establishments and return.

A-2013-2355899. Avalon Limousine, LLC (1062 East Lancaster Avenue, Suite 12B, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010) for the additional right to begin to transport, as a common carrier by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver between points in Delaware County to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2356615. Michael Mizur, t/a Limo 1 (3015 North Front Street, Whitehall, Lehigh County, PA 18052)—group and party service, in vehicles seating between 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in Northampton and Lehigh Counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.

A-2013-2356176. Bestway Moving, LLC (230 East Dorrance Street, Kingston, PA 18704) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in the Counties of Chester, Lancaster, Luzerne, Montgomery, Philadelphia and York.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods by transfer of rights as described under the application.

A-2013-2366877. Specialized Moving Services, Inc. (1515 Cambridge Street, Natrona Heights, PA 15065) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, which is to be a transfer of all the rights authorized under the Certificate of Public Convenience issued at A-00120984 on November 22, 2004, to Sigmund Transfer Company, LLC. Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2013-2351644. Martha K. King, t/a Vu Gaesht Onna (191 King Road, Honey Brook, Chester County, PA 19344) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of her certificate at A-00122881, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, authorizing the transportation of persons, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Township of White Deer, and within 35 miles of said township, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2357442. Hugh A. McKnight (265 McKnight Road, McClure, Snyder County, PA 17841) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of his Certificate of Public Convenience as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00122837 authorizing the transportation of persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Mifflin and Snyder to points in Pennsylvania and return.

A-2013-2360884. Glenn P. Monk, t/d/b/a Monk's Van Service (4344 White Oak Road, Paradise, PA 17562) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of his Certificate of Public Convenience as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00121494 authorizing the transportation of persons in paratransit service, whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, between points in the County of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
