PENNSYLVANIA ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE PLANNING COMMITTEE

Public Meeting

 The Pennsylvania Alzheimer's Disease Planning Committee (Committee), created by Executive Order 2013-01, will be holding a public meeting on Thursday, August 8, 2013. The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Healthy Aging, Ruth Pike Auditorium, 022 Biobehavioral Health Building, University Park, PA 16802.

 Residents, local government officials and interested organizations in this Commonwealth are invited to submit comments as the Committee prepares to develop a State Plan of action to address the growing crises of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

 Individuals who wish to provide oral comments at the August 8, 2013, meeting must call in advance to schedule a time. Oral comments will be time-limited per person and a written copy of the comments will be requested the day of the meeting. To schedule oral comments at the meeting, contact Amy Comarnitsky at (717) 425-5115.

 The facility is accessible by people with disabilities. People with a disability who require an accommodation to attend the public meeting are asked to notify Amy Comarnitsky at the previously listed phone number in advance so the appropriate accommodations can be made.
