Application for Approval of the Proposed Merger of Employers Security Insurance Company with and into Eastern Alliance Insurance Company

 Eastern Alliance Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania domiciled stock casualty insurance company, has filed an application for approval to merge with Employers Security Insurance Company, an Indiana stock casualty insurance company, with Eastern Alliance Insurance Company surviving the merger. The filing was made under Article XIV of The Insurance Company Law of 1921 (40 P. S. §§ 991.1401—991.1413); 15 Pa.C.S. §§ 1921—1932 (relating to merger, consolidation, share exchanges and sale of assets); and the GAA Amendments Act of 1990 (15 P. S. §§ 21101—21404).

 Persons wishing to comment on the merger are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department (Department) within 4 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include name, address and telephone number of the interested party; identification of the application to which the statement is addressed; and a concise statement with sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement.
