Newborn Screening and Follow-Up Program Technical Advisory Board Meeting

 The Newborn Screening and Follow-Up Program Technical Advisory Board, established under the Newborn Child Testing Act (35 P. S. §§ 621—625), will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The purpose of the meeting, generally, is to discuss new and developing issues relating to newborn screening tests, which are performed to assist health care providers in determining whether treatment or other services are necessary to avert mental retardation, permanent disabilities or death. The meeting will be held at the Department of Transportation, Bureau of Laboratories, 81 Lab Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
