Proclamation Terminating the State of Disaster Emergency

March 24, 2015

Whereas, On January 26, 2015 I proclaimed the existence of a disaster emergency in the Commonwealth due to a severe winter weather event; and

Whereas, this winter weather event impacted the Commonwealth and caused significant adverse impacts throughout the Commonwealth; and

Whereas, recovery operations from the winter storm continue and ongoing monitoring of conditions and investigations made at my direction have disclosed that the adverse impacts of the winter storm have been dealt with to the extent that emergency conditions no longer exist.

Now Therefore, pursuant to the provisions of Subsection 7301(c) of the Emergency Management Services Code (35 Pa.C.S. Section 7101 et seq.), I do hereby proclaim the termination of the state of disaster emergency in the Commonwealth.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the Governor, at the City of Harrisburg, on this twenty-fourth day of March in the year of our Lord two thousand and fifteen, and of the Commonwealth the two hundred and thirty-ninth.
