[47 Pa.B. 6125]
[Saturday, September 30, 2017]

Under the authority of The Clean Streams Law (35 P.S. §§ 691.1—691.1001), 25 Pa. Code §§ 92a.7(b) and (c) and 92a.54(b) (relating to duration of permits and continuation of expiring permits; and general permits), and sections 1905-A, 1917-A and 1920-A of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P.S. §§ 510-5, 510-17 and 510-20), the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is, by this notice, extending the availability of the current National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Discharges from Aquatic Animal Production Facilities (PAG-11).

The existing PAG-11 General Permit in effect at this time will expire on October 5, 2017. By this notice, the Department is administratively extending the current PAG-11 General Permit to October 5, 2018, or until the PAG-11 permit update is published as final. It is anticipated that the final PAG-11 General Permit update will be published prior to October 5, 2018. A person who is operating under the PAG-11 General Permit may continue to operate until October 5, 2018. If the PAG-11 General Permit is published as final in the Pennsylvania Bulletin on or before October 5, 2018, persons who are operating under the PAG-11 General Permit may continue to operate until expiration of the reissued PAG-11 General Permit.
