Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed in the event that there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by March 26, 2018. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2018-2644528. R & S Restaurant, Inc., t/a Imperial Coach (1526 Foliage Street, Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, PA 15221) in paratransit service, from points in the City of Pittsburgh, to correctional facilities in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-2647439. Transportation X, LLC (5289 Cherry Valley Road, Saylorsburg, Monroe County, PA 18353) in paratransit service from points in Northampton County to points in Lehigh County, and return.

A-2018-3000031. Heartland Medical Transportation, Inc. (739 Hemlock Street, Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA 18505) in paratransit service between points in Lackawanna County.

A-2018-2647436. Keith B. Chaplin, t/a Chaplin Transportation (3852 North 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140-3604) in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, Delaware County and Bucks County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under each application.

A-2018-2647618. Forward Moving, LLC (645 Birmingham Road, West Chester, Chester County, PA, 19382) household goods in use, between points within a 75-mile radius of Chester County.

A-2018-3000016. Moving U & Junk U, LLC (P.O. Box 215, West Chester, PA 19381) household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.
