Proposed Amendments to 7 Pa. Code Chapter 143; Transactions Between Dealers and Producers; Public Hearing

The Milk Marketing Board (Board) will conduct a public hearing on July 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. in Room 309, Agriculture Building, 2301 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA.
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive testimony and comments regarding proposed amendments to 7 Pa. Code Chapter 143 (relating to transactions between dealers and producers). At the request of the Department of Agriculture, the Board will consider amending 7 Pa. Code § 143.31 (relating to written notice required) to extend the required notice period to terminate dealer-producer contracts and will consider rescinding 7 Pa. Code § 143.32 (relating to forfeit use of notice rights).
Interested persons wishing to offer testimony or comments shall provide to the Board notification of their wish to participate either electronically at firstname.lastname@example.org or by filing at the Milk Marketing Board, Room 110, Agriculture Building, 2301 North Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110 by 2 p.m. on June 22, 2018.
