Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau; Rule Filing for Rate and Rule Manual Revisions; Fence Erection Contractors and Kitchenware

 On July 10, 2018, the Insurance Department received from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (Bureau) a filing that proposes revisions to the Bureau's underwriting guide. The filing includes the following proposed changes:

 • The reclassification of Fence Erection—Metal and Metal Fence Erection—by Specialist Contractor from classification code 658—Iron Erection or Installation—Ornamental or Non-Structural Only to classification code 651—Carpentry—Commercial Structures. The currently approved Bureau loss costs for classification codes 658 and 651 are $8.48 and $6.24, respectively.

 • The reclassification of Kitchenware (Retail) from classification code 925—Hardware Store—Retail to classification code 928—Retail Store, N.O.C. The currently approved Bureau loss costs for classification codes 925 and 928 are $1.62 and $1.68, respectively.

 • The reclassification of Kitchenware (Wholesale) from classification code 926—Hardware Store—Wholesale to classification code 924—Wholesale Store, N.O.C. The currently approved Bureau loss costs for classification codes 926 and 924 are $2.35 and $3.09, respectively.

 The filing is available for review on the Bureau's web site at www.pcrb.com in the ''Filings'' section.
