CPC 16.162: New Pennsylvania Civil War Battle Flag Facility. The following is a general description of the work involved: demolition of existing toilet rooms walls; relocation of existing piping; construction of new cmu partitions; construction of new gypsum wallboard partitions; construction of a new roof structure; construction of new roofing system; construction of new gypsum wallboard ceiling with plaster veneer; construction of new drywall ceiling; construction of new acoustical tile ceiling; installation of new rubber base; installation of a new roof hatch; installation of new metal door frames and metal doors; installation of metal frame with butt glazing system; floor preparation and installation of new terrazzo floor; fabrication and installation of new stainless steel floor and ceiling tracks for flag staff storage cases; installation of new toilet accessories; installation of new mechanical system; installation of new lighting and controls; installation of new fire detection system; installation of new fire detection system above roof; installation of new ''clean agent'' fire protection system below roof; installation of new wet sprinkler system in limited areas; installation of conduit for new security hardware at select doors to be installed by others; installation of conduit for new security cameras to be installed by others; and painting of all walls and ceilings.
A $100 deposit is required for issuance of project documents. The issue date of the request for proposals will be on November 26, 2018, at 2 p.m. A mandatory preproposal conference and walk through will be held on December 18, 2018, at 1 p.m. at 2221 Forster Street, Harrisburg, PA in the east end of the parking lot. The proposal receipt date is January 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. Project documents may be obtained in Room 630, Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg, PA or by contacting Tara Pyle at (717) 783-6484.
