 This bid issues on June 7, 2019, and bids will be opened on July 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. A mandatory prebid conference is scheduled for June 18, 2019, at 11 a.m. Representatives from the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) will meet the contractors at The Italian Club's parking lot, 113 Barnett Street, Plum, PA 15239 (coordinates: 40.497737, -79.724893). Failure to attend the prebid conference will be cause for rejection of the bid. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1328) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
