Stream Redesignation Evaluations; Class A Wild Trout Designated Streams

Under 25 Pa. Code § 93.4d (relating to processing of petitions, evaluations and assessments to change a designated use) the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) gives notice that an evaluation will be conducted on the following stream sections to determine the proper water use designations.
Each of these streams has been classified by the Fish and Boat Commission as a Class A Wild Trout stream. The Department is seeking information concerning the water quality of the following waters to supplement any evaluations or assessments that have been or are being performed for potential redesignation as High Quality or Exceptional Value Waters.

Persons who have technical data concerning the water quality, instream habitat or biological condition of these streams are encouraged to make the data available to the Department for consideration in the use evaluations. These evaluations may lead to recommendations by the Department to the Environmental Quality Board for redesignation.
