Pennsylvania Housing Advisory Committee Meeting Cancellation
[50 Pa.B. 1934]
[Saturday, April 4, 2020]
As the needs of residents of this Commonwealth are rapidly changing due to the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Department of Community and Economic Development (Department) has decided to request an extension from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on the submission of their 2020 Annual Action Plan (Plan). This action is being taken so that the Department may assess the immediate needs, due to the crisis, of the populations the Federal programs benefit under the Plan and realign any program to meet those needs or include additional funding, or both, that may come from the Federal government.
In light of this decision, the Pennsylvania Housing Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for April 8, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. will be canceled and rescheduled at a later date, when the Plan will be submitted to HUD.
