Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by September 14, 2020. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2020-3020503. We Care Transportation Services, LLC (7401 Old York Road, 3rd Floor, Elkins Park, PA 19027) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, limited to mobility challenged people, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia.

A-2020-3021311. New Hope Home Care, Inc. (802 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, Delaware County, PA 19082) in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Subject to the following restrictions:

 1) transportation is limited to the transportation of persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, or

 2) transportation is limited to transportation to correctional facilities, or

 3) transportation is limited to wheelchair or stretcher van service.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2020-3020765. Rock City Shuttles, LLC (3368 Kingwood Road, Rockwood, Somerset County, PA 19403) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, to transport, as a common carrier, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in the Counties of Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland.

A-2020-3021100. Private Transit, LLC (343 William Street, Downingtown, PA 19335) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2020-3021335. Gary R. Ebright (603 Elm Street, Watsontown, Northumberland County, PA 17777) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6422763, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Clinton, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland and Union, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
