Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before October 12, 2021. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by October 12, 2021. In accordance with the Commission's Emergency Order at M-2020-3019262, all parties participating in matters pending before the Commission are required to eFile their submissions by opening an eFiling account and accepting eService. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2021-3028453. Allegheny Coach Transportation, Inc. (4698 State Route 136, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, PA 15601) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland to points in Pennsylvania, and return, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2021-3027860. Ray Eckert, t/a R Eckert Transportation (2451 Douglas Drive, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA 17602) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2021-3028355. Donald George Flick, LLC (201 Maple Lane, New Providence, Lancaster County, PA 17560) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County to points in Pennsylvania, and return as originally docketed at A-2010-2204478.
