Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before August 22, 2022. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by August 22, 2022. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2022-3032899. Steve's Transportation Service, LLC (217 North Hopple Hollow Road, Loganton, Clinton County, PA 17747) to transport by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Clinton and Lycoming Counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3033562. Martha J. Martin (P.O. Box 149, Terre Hill, Lancaster County, PA 17581) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2022-3033571. Roxannes Transportation & Hauling, LLC (4283 White Deer Pike, New Columbia, Union County, PA 17856) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Lycoming, Northumberland and Union, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under each application.

A-2022-3033551. Jordan R. Dietrich (120 Cleveland Street, Kittanning, Armstrong County, PA 16201) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, limited to transporting pianos, between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2022-3033917. New Generation Moving, LLC (9 Kiltie Drive, Penn Hills, Allegheny County, PA 15235) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2022-3033746. E. S. Savage, Inc. (P.O. Box 167, 221 Island Street (Rear), Hamburg, Berks County, PA 19526) partial discontinuance of the rights, authorized at A-00101598. Carrier is discontinuing right No. 29 of the original ordering paragraph which states: to transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods in use between points in the Borough of Hamburg, Berks County, and within an airline distance of 10 miles of the center of said borough; and right No. 30 of the original ordering paragraph which states: to transport as a Class D carrier, household goods in use from points in the Borough of Hamburg, Berks County, and within an airline distance of 10 miles of the center of said borough to other points in Pennsylvania and vice versa. After the partial discontinuance of household goods rights, carrier's rights will read as such: to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, property, excluding household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

A-2022-3034030. Clarence L. Hess (693 Truce Road, Quarryville, Lancaster County, PA 17566) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its right, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as originally docketed at A-2008-2013855.
