DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

 The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P.S. §§ 1381.1—1381.3), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.

 The following property is available for sale by the Department.

 State Route 0022 Sec 495, Parcel No. 37, Tax ID # 40-004-105.00, located in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County. The parcel contains approximately ± 22,651 square feet or ± 0.52 acre of unimproved land situated at Station ± 11 + 492.5 LT to Station ± 11 592.5 + 00 LT traveling east bound on Route 22, identified in the RW plan SR 0022 Seg 495. The property will be sold in ''as-is condition.'' The property is encumbered with an encroachment of easement for electrical lines. The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $2,100. It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.

 Interested public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing the site within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to Kevin D. Pollino, Right-of-Way Administrator, Department of Transportation, Engineering District 10-0, 2550 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701-3388.
