Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before July 17, 2023. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by July 17, 2023. In accordance with the Commission's Emergency Order at M-2020-3019262, all parties participating in matters pending before the Commission are required to eFile their submissions by opening an eFiling account and accepting eService. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the listed docket number as follows or by searching the applicant's web site.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2023-3040730. Jenquis Transportation, LLC (405 West Hemlock Street, Hazleton, Luzerne County, PA 18201) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Adams, Berks, Bradford, Carbon, Clinton, Columbia, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, Schuylkill, Wayne, Wyoming and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3040844. Ping-Nga Nonemergency Transportation, LLC (553 North 4th Street, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18102) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Lehigh and Northampton, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3041146. Kensington Capital Group, LLC (5200 Hilltop Drive, M-13, Brookhaven, Delaware County, PA 19015) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3041199. JB Taxi, LLC, t/a Country Taxi Cab (777 Corporation Street, P.O. Box 471, Beaver, Beaver County, PA 15009) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. A-2023-3041226. Babs Ventures, LLC, t/a Babs Transportation (48 West Court Boulevard, West Lawn, Berks County, PA 19609) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in Berks County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2023-3041227. Mel's Mobile Service, LLC (820 Route 910, Cheswick, Allegheny County, PA 15024) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Application of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under the application.

A-2023-3041319. Red Lion Tours, Inc., t/a Red Lion Travel, Et Al (110 East Walnut Street, Red Lion, York County, PA 17356) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, as a broker of passengers between points in Pennsylvania, as thoroughly described in the original ordering paragraph at Docket No. A-00094191, F.1.
