§ 11.65. Denial of guardianship petition.

 If a guardianship petition filed under §  11.61 (relating to deprivation of property) is denied by the Court of Common Pleas or not acted upon within 6 months as required by §  11.63 (relating to appointment of payee), the Guardian Officer shall promptly contact the benefit-issuing agency or entity concerning the disposition of conserved funds. The Guardian Officer shall also notify the agency or entity that subsequent benefit checks cannot be accepted and will be returned if received. If no direction to the contrary is received from the agency or entity within 30 days after the date of the decision denying the petitions or the expiration of the 6-month period, conserved funds shall be returned to the client.
