61 Pa. Code § 801.1. Definitions.

§ 801.1. Definitions.

 The following words and terms, when used in this part, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

   Act or Law—The State Lottery Law (72 P. S. § §  3761-1—3761-15).

   Agent—A person who has been licensed to sell lottery tickets under the act.

   Bank—Signifies and includes banks, banking associations and trust companies organized under the authority of the Commonwealth or the United States whose principal place of business is within this Commonwealth.

   Bureau—The Pennsylvania State Lottery created to administer and operate the lottery by order of the Executive Board.

   Department—The Department of Revenue of the Commonwealth.

   Director—The Executive Director of the Bureau who is also the secretary and executive officer of the Commission.

   Division—The Division of State Lottery created by the act.

   Lottery or Pennsylvania State Lottery or State Lottery—The lottery established and operated under the law.

   Main bank—The principal office of a bank.

   Person—An individual, association, corporation, club, trust, estate, society, company, joint stock company, receiver, trustee, assignee, referee or other person acting in a fiduciary capacity, whether appointed by a court or otherwise and other combinations of individuals. The term includes departments, commissions, agencies and instrumentalities of the Commonwealth, including counties and municipalities and agencies and instrumentalities thereof.

   Secretary—The Secretary of Revenue of the Commonwealth.

   Ticket—The lottery ticket issued by the State lottery for sale to the general public.
