NOTICES

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company; Revised Automobile Insurance Rates and Rules

   On July 25, 1997, the Insurance Department received from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company a filing of rates and rules for automobile insurance.

   The company requests an overall 0.9% decrease amounting to $9,100,000 annually, to be effective October 1, 1997 for new business and November 1, 1997 for renewals.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to September 23, 1997, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

   Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Rick Pawelski, Insurance Department, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
