Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Publication of this notice shall be considered as sufficient notice to all carriers holding authority from this Commission. Applications will be considered without hearing in the absence of protests to the application. Protests to the applications published herein are due on or before March 17, 1997, as set forth at 52 Pa. Code § 3.381 (relating to applications for transportation of property and persons). The protest shall also indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application or the permanent application or both.

Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.

   A-00113728.  Jerry L. Stauffer (425 Bolivar Drive, Bradford, McKean County, PA 16701)--persons upon call or demand in the city of Bradford, and the townships of Bradford and Foster, McKean County; which is to be a transfer of all of the right authorized under the certificate issued at A-00103736, Folder 3 to Timothy G. Applications of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

   A-00107205, Folder 1, Am-A. Gold Cross Limousine of PA, Inc. (19 Spring Street, Struthers, OH 44471), a corporation of the State of Ohio--for amendment to its common carrier certificate, which grants the right to transport persons by motor vehicle in limousine service, between points in the county of Mercer, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; subject to the following conditions: (1) that no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service to points in the borough of Monaca, Beaver County, (2) that no right, power or privilege is granted to transport employees of Consolidated Rail Corporation for said Corporation, from points in Mercer County, and (3) that no right, power or privilege is granted to render service from points in Mercer County that are located within an airline distance of 25 statute miles of the limits of the borough of Slippery Rock, Butler County, to the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport in Allegheny County: so as to permit the elimination of the third restrictive condition which reads as follows: that no right, power or privilege is granted to render service from points in Mercer County that are located within an airline distance of 25 statute miles of the limits of the borough of Slippery Rock, Butler County, to the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport in Allegheny County.    A-00095403, Folder 1, Am-E. Dutchland Tours, Inc. (3121 Old Philadelphia Pike, Box 414, Bird-In-Hand, Lancaster County, PA 17505), a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania--this application seeks the right, to transport persons on tours or sight-seeing trips, between points in the county of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania; with the above right subject to the following conditions: (1) that no right, power or privilege is granted to originate service from points in the borough of Terre Hill and the townships of Brecknock, Caernarvon, East Earl and West Lampeter, Lancaster County and (2) that no right, power or privilege is granted to operate vehicles having a seating capacity of more than 28 passengers: which is to be in lieu of its common carrier authority at A-00095403, F. 1, Am-D which reads as follows: persons on tours or sight-seeing trips, between points in the county of Lancaster, and from points in said county, to points in Pennsylvania; with the above right subject to the following condition: that no right, power or privilege is granted to originate service from points in the township of West Lampeter, Lancaster County.
