Basic Training and In-Service Training Require   ments for Municipal Police Officers; Suspension    of § 203.11(5)(v) (relating to visual acuity)

      The Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission suspends § 203.11(5)(v) (relating to visual acuity) of Chapter 203 (relating to administration of the program) pending resolution of a lawsuit filed against the Pennsylvania State Police (Wilson v. Pennsylvania State Police, et al No. 94-6547 U. S. District Court--Eastern District of Pennsylvania).

      Upon resolution of this lawsuit, § 203.11(5)(v) (relating to visual acuity) will either be reinstated or amended, as appropriate.
