   A-110500 F0295 and A-140200 F5000.  PP&L, Inc. and PPL Generation, LLC.  Application of PP&L, Inc., and PPL Generation, LLC., for Certificates of Public Convenience evidencing the commission's approval of the transfer by PP&L, Inc., through a series of intermediate transactions to PPL Generation, LLC, and the receipt by PPL Generation, LLC, of all of the issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Interstate Energy Company.

   This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before February 7, 2000 under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
