Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

   The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). The protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265 with a copy served on the applicant by January 13, 2003. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a common carrier for transportation of persons as described under the application.

   A-00119428.  Nadine A. Harrison t/d/b/a Hosanna Van Service (P. O. Box 2888, Philadelphia, PA 19151-0888)--persons in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to correctional institutions in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

   A-00115999, Folder 1, Am-A.  Ronald E. Norris, Jr. t/d/b/a Get on the Bus (220 Emerald Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17110)--persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Dauphin and York, to correctional institutions in the said counties, and at other points in Pennsylvania, and return: So as to Permit the transportation of persons in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and York, and from points in said counties, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under the application.

   A-00119430, F.2.  William G. Fedyski t/d/b/a Fantasy Limo Leasing (28 Georgetown Lane, Beaver, Beaver County, PA 15009)--persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania; which is to be a transfer of the right authorized under the certificate at A-00108826, F.5, issued to System of Services, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions. Application for temporary authority has been filed at A-00119430, F.2, seeking the right previously cited.

Applications of the following for certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under each application.

   A-00119429.  Just Move It, Inc. (19247 Gospel Hill Road, Saegertown, Crawford County, PA 16433), a corporation of the Commonwealth--household goods in use, between points in the Counties of Crawford, Erie, Mercer and Venango.

   A-00119388, F.2.  K. W. Larkin Enterprises, Inc. (430 Dieber Road, Schwenksville, Montgomery County, PA 19473), a corporation of the Commonwealth--household goods in use, between points in the County of Chester, and within an airline distance of 10 statute miles of the limits thereof, and from points in said territory, to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa. Application of the following for amendment to the certificate of public convenience approving the operation of motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.

   A-00089650, Folder 2, Am-E.  Williamsport Moving Company, Inc. t/d/b/a Keystone Relocation (3340 Wahoo Drive, Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA 17701), a Pennsylvania corporation--household goods in use, between points in the City of Nanticoke, Luzerne County, and within 3 miles of the limits of said City, to points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa: So as to Permit the transportation of household goods in use, between points in the County of Centre, and from points in said County, to points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa. Complaint

   The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) is a duly constituted agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania empowered to regulate public utilities within the Commonwealth. The Commission has delegated its authority to initiate proceedings which are prosecutory in nature to the Bureau of Transportation and Safety and other bureaus with enforcement responsibilities. Pursuant to that delegated authority and Section 701 of the Public Utility Code, the Bureau of Transportation and Safety Prosecutory Staff hereby represents as follows:

   1.  That PAMCO, Inc., respondent, maintains its principal place of business at Box 926, Frank Rd. & Scioto River, Columbus, OH 43216.

   2.  That respondent was issued a certificate of public convenience by this Commission on May 13, 1958, at Application Docket No. A-00085065.

   3.  That respondent abandoned or discontinued service without having first submitted a letter to this Commission containing a statement that the service is no longer being rendered. Respondent has not reported intrastate revenue for the years 1999, 2000 and 2001.

   4.  That respondent, by failing to submit a letter to this Commission containing a statement that the service is no longer being rendered, violated 52 Pa. Code § 3.381(a)(5) and, by failing to maintain adequate, efficient and safe service and facilities, violated 66 Pa.C.S. § 1501.

   WHEREFORE, the Bureau of Transportation and Safety Prosecutory Staff hereby requests that the Commission revoke respondent's Certificate of Public Convenience at A-00085065.

   3.  That respondent abandoned or discontinued service without having first submitted a letter to this Commission containing a statement that the service is no longer being rendered. Respondent has not reported intrastate revenue for the years 1999, 2000 and 2001.

   4.  That respondent, by failing to submit a letter to this Commission containing a statement that the service is no longer being rendered, violated 52 Pa. Code § 3.381(a)(5) and, by failing to maintain adequate, efficient and safe service and facilities, violated 66 Pa.C.S. § 1501.
