Proposed Plan for the Disposition of Commonwealth Property

[33 Pa.B. 2550]

   The Department of General Services (Department), under the authority contained in The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. §§ 51--732), is publishing this proposed property disposition plan for review by the public and approval of the General Assembly. The proposed plan is available for review at www.dgs.state.pa.us/realestate/re.htm.

   Persons who wish to comment on the proposed plan can do so in writing to Stephen Squibb, Department of General Services, Bureau of Real Estate, Room 505 North Office Building, Harrisburg, PA 17125, within 30 days from the date of this notice. Correspondence should include the name and address of the writer and ''Property Disposition Plan'' should be noted in the lower right corner of the envelope. If more detailed information is needed concerning a particular property, written requests should be directed to the previously mentioned address.

General Description of Properties

   This property disposition plan is only a proposal to offer for sale the following described real property.

Offering No. 1

   Pennhurst Center. The property consists of 7.5 acres and four buildings. The property is located off Brown Drive, East Vincent Township, PA.

Offering No. 2

   Southampton-Byberry Road Parcel. The property consists of 1.4 acres. The property is located on Southampton Byberry Road, Philadelphia, PA.

Offering No. 3

   New Kensington Parcel. The property consists of approximately 0.5 acre. The property is located on Woodland Drive, City of New Kensington, PA.

Offering No. 4

   Clarks Summit State Hospital Residences. The property consists of approximately 1.3 acres and two buildings. The property is located on Forest Acres Drive, Clarks Summit, PA.

Offering No. 5

   Polk State Hospital Staff Residences and Garage. The property consists of approximately 4 acres and four buildings. The property is located off of Route 62 in Venango County, PA.

   The Department is not guaranteeing to sell any or all of the referenced property. Final determination of sale will be conditioned upon approval from the General Assembly and responses received from this notice.
