State Farm Fire and Casualty Company; Private Passenger Automobile; Rate and Rule Revisions; Rate Filing

   On December 29, 2008, the Insurance Department (Department) received from State Farm Fire and Casualty Company a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.

   The company requests an overall 2.4% increase amounting to $2.554 million annually, to be effective May 25, 2009.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to February 27, 2009, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Michael McKenney, Insurance Department, Office of Insurance Product Regulation and Market Enforcement, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120,, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
