OSM 26(0149)102.1, Mine Subsidence/Fire Control Project, Prittstown, Upper Tyrone Township, Fayette County. The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization; 3,724 linear feet of 6" air rotary drilling; 1,470 linear feet of overburden casing, steel or PVC; 4,844 tons of supply, delivery and injection of grout material and 114 each of sealing boreholes. This project issues on November 25, 2009, with bids opened on December 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal Government under the authority given it by Pub. L. No. 95-87 dated August 3, 1977, The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and is subject to that Law, and to the Federal Grant for this project.
