Licenses to Carry Firearms

 The Commission on Crime and Delinquency, under the authority in 18 Pa.C.S. § 6109(h)(2)(i) (relating to licenses), in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania Sheriffs' Association, has designed, developed and implemented a system to standardize and modernize the process of issuing licenses to carry firearms. As of January 18, 2011, all 67 counties in this Commonwealth are utilizing the standardized and modern Statewide license to carry system.
