Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by January 30, 2012. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2011-2258646. Duncannon Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (16 Shermanta Drive, Duncannon, Perry County, PA 17020-9710)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, persons in paratransit service, from points in Perry County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2268359. Corrected JLH Transit, LLC (7227 Monticello Street, Suite A, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15208)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, persons in paratransit service, from points in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, to Commonwealth correctional facilities in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2269955. Reliable Transit, Inc. (2049 North Philip Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19122)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, persons in paratransit service by providing nonemergency medical transportation and transportation to treatment facilities, from points in the City of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2270950. Paul S. Beiler (436 South Kinzers Road, Paradise, PA 17562)—persons, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2011-2273756. Manuals Basic Business Systems, LLC, t/a Basic Car Service (3050 Stump Hall Road, Collegeville, PA 19426)—for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, persons in limousine service, from points in Bucks and Montgomery Counties to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under the application.

A-2011-2274076. Gem Ambulance, LLC (1750 Cedar Bridge Avenue, Lakewood, Ocean County, NJ 08701)—in paratransit service, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-0009936 to Transit Aide, Inc., subject to the same limitations and conditions. Application of the following for approval of the additional right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2011-2266294. Paradise Transit, Inc. (23 North Sheridan Street, Coal Township, Northumberland County, PA 17866)—a corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania—to transport, as a common carrier, persons in Group and Party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Delaware, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, Berks and Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
