Availability of the Fiscal Year Report for the Reclamation Fee O & M Trust Account

 The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) announces the availability of a draft Fiscal Year Report (report) for the Reclamation Fee O & M Trust Account (account). This account was established to provide the money for the operation and maintenance of mine drainage treatment facilities at mine sites with post-mining discharges at ABS Legacy Sites as defined at 25 Pa. Code § 86.1 (relating to definitions). This report is required by 25 Pa. Code § 86.17 (relating to permit and reclamation fees). The report contains a financial analysis of the revenue and expenditures from the account for Fiscal Year (FY) 2011-2012 and provides projections for FY 2012-2013. The report and any comments provided will be reviewed with the Mine Reclamation Advisory Board at the meeting scheduled for October 25, 2012. Comments and questions should be directed to the contact listed as follows. Comments will be accepted through September 14, 2012.
