Task Force on Lyme Disease and Related Tick-Borne Diseases Meeting

 The Department of Health (Department) will be holding a public meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the initial meeting of the Task Force on Lyme Disease and Related Tick-Borne Diseases. The meeting purpose includes making recommendations to the Department regarding the surveillance and prevention of Lyme disease and related tick-borne illnesses; raising awareness about the effects of the misdiagnosis of Lyme disease; and developing a program of general public and health care professional information and education. The meeting will be held at the Dixon University Center, 2986 North Second Street, Administration Building, Room AB, Harrisburg, PA 17110-1201.
