Public Rail-Highway Crossing

A-2017-2603825. CSX Transportation, Inc. Application of CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSX) under 66 Pa.C.S. § 2702 (relating to construction, relocation, suspension and abolition of crossings) for the abolition of the public rail-highway crossing where the tracks of CSX's Philadelphia subdivision Cross Pine Street in the Borough of Darby, Delaware County.

 On May 12, 2017, CSX Transportation, Inc. filed an application with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) requesting authorization to permanently abolish the public rail-highway crossing where the tracks of its Philadelphia Subdivision are crossed by Pine Street in Darby Borough, Delaware County.

 Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). Filings must be made with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on Administrative Law Judge Steven K. Haas and counsel to CSX Transportation, Inc. on or before Monday, June 19, 2017. A copy of CSX's application is available for inspection and copying at the Commission's Office of the Secretary, in Harrisburg, PA, from 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Commission web site at www.puc.pa.gov and at the applicant's business address.
