Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed in the event that there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by August 13, 2018. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2018-3000534. Lindsay Transit, LLC (113 Priscilla Lane, Aldan, PA 19018) in paratransit service, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to correctional facilities in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-3001938. Workhorse Transport & Outfitters, LLC (19 Hickory Grade Road, Cecil, Washington County, PA 15321) in group and party service, in vehicles seating between 11 and 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Washington, Allegheny and Armstrong, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-3003019. Metro Ride, LLC (322 North Shore Drive, Building 1B, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15212) in paratransit service, in wheelchair and stretcher vans, from points in Allegheny County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-3003079. Loise W. Otieno, t/a Marklo EMS Transport (313 Indigo Way, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18104) in paratransit service, in wheelchair and stretcher vans, from points in the Counties of Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and Schuylkill, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-3003172. A Caring Hand Home Health Care, LLC (6100 Clearfield Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA 17111) in paratransit service from points in the Counties of Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder and York to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2018-3003182. Fenrick Enterprises, LLC, t/a Tina's Taxi and Delivery (1739A Butler Pike, Mercer, Mercer County, PA 16137) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in airport transfer service, from points in the Counties of Butler, Crawford, Lawrence, Mercer and Venango to Pittsburgh International Airport.

A-2018-3003212. Medi-Cab Transport, LLC (35 Majestic Circle, Hollidaysburg, Blair County, PA 16648) in paratransit service, limited to nonemergency medical purposes, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Bedford, Huntingdon, Jefferson, Montour, Somerset and Westmoreland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
