Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by December 2, 2019. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2019-3013947. SS Non-Emergency Transportation, LLC (6904 Castor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149) in paratransit service, limited to persons who cannot operate motor vehicles, from points in the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.

A-2019-3013333. Elite Moving Company, LLC (229 Bonita Drive, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, PA 15601) household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.

Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.

A-2019-3013550. Darleen C. Christy, t/a DC Cab (1301 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-00113427, persons in call or demand in that part of the Counties of Cambria and Somerset bounded as follows: Beginning at the western county line of the County of Cambria, thence east on U.S. Highway Route 22 to its intersection with State Route 53 at the Borough of Cresson, Cambria County, thence south on State Route 53 to its intersection with State Route 160 at the Borough of Wilmore, Cambria County, thence continuing south on State Route 160 to its intersection with U.S. Highway Route 30, thence west on U.S. Highway Route 30 to the Somerset County Line, thence north along the Somerset/Cambria County Lines to the point of beginning at U.S. Highway Route 22, Cambria County.

Box 196, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA 17097-0196) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6416082, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Dauphin, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2019-3013897. Raymond Dunkle, t/a Dunkle Transportation (16703 Timmons Road, Spring Run, Franklin County, PA 17262) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, at A-6410479, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Franklin County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Application of the following for approval to begin operating as contract carriers for transportation of persons as described under the application.

A-2019-3013854. Dependable People Transportation, LLC (1316 Pheasant Run Road, Middletown, Dauphin County, PA 17057) for the right to begin to transport, as a contract carrier for Medical Transportation Management, Inc., between points in the Counties of Dauphin and Lancaster.
